Kathleen Murray is a Doctor of Philosophy and recovering academic. She co-edited True to the Spirit: Film Adaptation and the Question of Fidelity for Oxford University Press. Her dissertation followed the intersection of gender and genre in films featuring women detectives. She is now a writer and editor for hire.
